FRED FIGIERO: An old man and his trusty walker search the city for a comfortable pair of shoes...while it's bombarded with flesh eating zombies and parasitic worms. Yes, Fred is out of his mind, but he's no pushover, as he bashes his way through countless zombies in gory style.

JON: A skilled shooter, Jon's goal is to stock up on supplies such as food and safe drinks that haven't been contaminated with worms. He meets up with Fred, but their team doesn't last long.

NURSE: Eager to help others, she wanders into hostile zombie territory, and is quickly bitten. She then seeks a cure through Fred, but Fred leads her on a pointless goosechase to the mall in order to claim a pair of slippers.

BENJAMIN: A cell phone addict, anything outside his conversation fades from his consciousness, proving to be a serious flaw in a city of zombies. He's a fan of donuts, and puts his team's life at risk for the stale but delicious treat. He also happens to be searching for his wife, who has wandered off.

HAC: Hoping to find a cure for his pal, Hac enters a supermarket for prescriptions and food. He knows full well the cure had never been found when humanity fell to the zombie plague, and communicates that message to MAC, who happens to be infected.

ZOMBIE BULLY: This zombie will steal any food he sees fit to devour, as the worms in his brain have become increasingly hungry and unsatisfied. Other zombies usually follow him for any scraps he leaves behind.

ROTT WORMS: The primary species of the zombie plague, they originated from somewhere on earth and quickly took over mankind. They spread through all water supplies in only two years thanks to their microscopic eggs, which are impervious to filtering, heating and chemical treatment. Rott Worms enter their human hosts via water intake or piercing the skin. Once inside, they crawl to the brain, taking over all motor functions in their relentless hunger for more meat. Other species are rumored to exist... The Rott Worm controlling the brain usually eats it slowly, while laying millions of tiny eggs that migrate to the rest of the body, but usually the stomach and throat, where fresh meat intake regularly occurs if the zombie host is a successful hunter.

ZOMBIES: Formerly human beings, these mindless, plodding corpses stumble throughout the world, but Rott City in particular, seeking fresh meat to devour for the sake of the Rott Worms residing in their bodies. They can endure countless forms of dismemberment without feeling pain, but a shot to the brain, exactly where the Rott Worm that controls motor function resides, will put them out of their numb existence. Thousands exist in Rott City alone, as Fred soon discovers.
